Summerhill Road reopened after tree falls on power line

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Parts of Summerhill Road in North Augusta were shut down due to a tree on a power line early Monday morning, according to officials.

The North Augusta Department of Public Safety says the roadway was shut down between Georgia Avenue and Observatory Avenue.

Officials say Dominion Energy also responded to the scene.

The roadway was reopened at 8 a.m.
