Body, car found in Hancock County lake

SPARTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A body was found in a Hancock County lake Saturday, according to the Baldwin County Dive Team.

Officials said the team was called to Lake Sinclair off Highway 16 just after 7:15 a.m. in reference to a submerged car. A body was found around 9 a.m., and the car was found around 9:20 a.m.

The victim has not been identified.
