Opening date scheduled for Wellstar Columbia County Hospital

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Wellstar Columbia County Hospital is on track to open next month.
Wellstar said Friday that Columbia County’s first hospital is scheduled to open Aug. 26.
A community open house planned for Aug. 8 for the public to tour it.
Details on that will be released later.
The hospital will offer robotic surgery, telehealth capabilities and emergency care at its new building, 5000 Gateway Blvd., Grovetown.
