Crash under investigation near Augusta Road in Aiken County

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Aiken County.

22-year-old killed in single-vehicle crash in Aiken County

An Aiken County man has died following a single-car crash late Friday night on Chrukker Creek Road, according to the county coroner’s office.

The crash happened around 9:15 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Augusta Road and Weeping Willow Lane.

A News 12 crew at the scene saw South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers directing traffic around the crash site.

It is unclear whether anyone was injured. News 12 has reached out to the South Carolina Highway Patrol for additional information, including what may have caused the crash and whether any injuries were reported.
