No injuries reported in gas leak outside Lakeside High School

EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Lakeside High School has reported its second gas leak in just over two weeks.

On Wednesday, school officials said the leak happened outside the building after school hours.

According to the letter sent home, it was quickly fixed, however, students and staff still in the building were evacuated.

The building has been deemed safe.

On April 30, Lakeside High School officials say a gas line was struck, causing a gas leak inside the building.

School officials say school operations will continue as normal on Thursday.

The school confirms there have been no injuries reported for either incident.
