2 people killed, 7 injured in Orangeburg County crash

VANCE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Two people were killed and seven others were injured in a crash in Orangeburg County on Monday evening.

Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the crash happened around 9:40 p.m. on US-15 and SE-210.

Troopers say a 2021 Toyota Camry was traveling west on SC210 when it collided with a 2026 Chrysler Pacifica van.

Troopers say the Camry then ran off the road to the right and overturned.

The driver and a passenger of the Camry both died, according to troopers.

Seven occupants in the van were injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The crash is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
