18-year-old killed in shooting on Oak Street in Blackville
BLACKVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - One person is dead after a weekend shooting in Blackville.
The Blackville Police Department responded to Oak Street in reference to a shooting Saturday shortly after 2 a.m., according to the Barnwell County Coroner’s Office.
Aiken County deputies investigate deadly shooting in Warrenville
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting death of a teenager in Warrenville, according to a press release from the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
During the investigation, officers discovered the body of 18-year-old Rakel Howard, who had been shot, the coroner says.
The Blackville Police Department, with assistance from the coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are investigating this incident, according to the coroner.
The Blackville police encourage anyone with information related to this incident to come forward.
