1 injured in shooting on Hephzibah-McBean Road

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A person was transported to a local hospital after a shooting Wednesday night on Hephzibah-McBean Road, authorities say.

At 7:49 p.m., the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2100 block of Hephzibah-McBean Road for shots fired.

Upon arrival, deputies located one subject who had been shot and was transported to a local hospital.

The sheriff’s office’s says the incident report was not available.
