Body of missing McDuffie County man found

MCDUFFIE COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Investigators said they found the body 79-year-old James "Toocat" Parks Sr. in a pond off Noble Street In McDuffie County.
The GBI is assisting the McDuffie County Sheriff's Office with the death investigation.
Mr. Parks' is being transported to the GBI crime lab for an autopsy.

MCDUFFIE COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Investigators in McDuffie County are looking for a person that they said has been missing since early Sunday afternoon.
Investigators said 79-year-old James "Toocat" Parks Sr. walked away from his home on Wrightsboro Road in Thomson. They said he is on medication for medical issues and has a pacemaker.
Parks is described as 5' 6" and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red/white/black golf-type striped shirt with slacks and glasses.
