Plans released of new Wheeless Road Elementary and Sego Middle Schools

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Plans have been released for the new Wheeless Road Elementary and Sego Middle Schools. This comes as more than eight hundred students attending those schools could get reassigned to different schools while those two are under construction.
Dr. Angela Pringle presented the presentation on April 18, and now we're getting a first look at the floor plans and a proposed rendering of one of the schools.
As News 12 NBC 26 told you last week, the school board still has to vote on moving the students. If the vote was approved, students will be reassigned to the following schools:
- Glenn Hills Elementary
- Terrace Manor Elementary
- Wilkinson Gardens Elementary
- Glenn Hills Middle
- Morgan Road Middle
- Murphey Middle
- Pine Hill Middle
- Spirit Creek Middle
Four public hearings will be held on the topic at the following dates, times, and locations:
Tuesday, April 25 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Sego Middle School
Thursday, April 27 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Wheeless Road Elementary
Tuesday, May 2 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Sego Middle School
Thursday, May 4 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Wheeless Road Elementary
