AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - South Aiken High School broke ground on new campus upgrades.

The renovations and additions to the high school campus are being funded by the 2024 one cent sales tax.

The money will help local students prepare for their career paths after high school.

“We’re lacking in some of those spaces, but in the next couple of years, we’re going to be second to none in regards to those spaces and opportunities that our children have,” said Samuel Fuller, South Aiken High School principal.
