Greenbrier wins state semi's, will play for title Friday

Evans, GA. --Greenbrier's baseball team will have a chance for their second straight class 4-A state title after defeating Marist in a doubleheader Monday afternoon. The Wolfpack won game one 10-3 then took the second 6-1. Brandon Cumpton and Nolan Belcher picked up the wins on the mound as Greenbrier has now won 27 straight ballgames.

In game one, the Pack broke things open in the 3rd scoring five runs and building up a 7-0 lead after 4 innings.

Then in the nighcap, a four run fifth inning was the difference as the bats came alive once again for the Wolfpack. They will now host the championship series starting Friday.
