AIKEN, S.C. (WRDWWAGT) -- On Sunday, the Pacer baseball team was traveling back to Aiken after a win over North Georgia, when this happened. The bus carrying the players, coaches and managers began to smoke -- after everyone got off, it went up in flames.

The guys lost everything from uniforms, catchers gear and gloves. But players and coaches haven't skipped a beat, as they're back at practice today preparing for their mid-week game against Erskine.

The Pacers may have lost some of their most prized possessions, but the fire did not dim their spirit.

"I can tell you one thing, we're not backing down. This ain't stopping us. We will play Erskine here, 6 o'clock Wedneday night. Pack the stadium, because we're going to be here. I can promise you," Pacers head coach, Kenny Thomas said.
