ATHENS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT0 -- It's hard to believe, but it's already week 11 of the college football season. The finish line is near, and georgia has its eyes on another sec championship.

But there's still three more regular season games play.

After over a month on the road, the Dawgs are back between the hedges this Saturday taking on rival Auburn.

Last year, UGA lost on the road to the Tigers, before avenging themselves in the conference title game.

This isn't the same Auburn team from 2017. At 6-3, they've had their struggles.

But Auburn is coming off a win over ranked Texas A&M and have their eyes on another upset. Kirby smart is confident in Georgia's chances.

"It's always a rivalry game, and I think that a big part of that is being at your best when your best is needed. And that's the challenge for our guys. We're playing at home, at night, in our stadium, which I think is really important to our fans, important to our players to protect our home turf," Smart said.

This is the third time Georgia will face Auburn in the past 12 months. The Dawgs open up as a 14.5 point favorites. Kick off is at 7 p.m.
