Wildlife center asking for used mascara brushes to help animals

Monday, March 11, 2019

(WRDW/WAGT) -- A wildlife rehabilitation center near Winnipeg, Canada is asking for some out-of-the-ordinary donations: used mascara brushes. And no, they're not for the staff.

The Prairie Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre uses them to help clean baby animals. The brushes are great for removing things like burrs and fleas.

Donated brushes can only be accepted if they're clean and free of any mascara.

Those of us who don't live in Canada can send wands to 48059 RPO Lakewood Wpg, MB R2J 4A3.
