WARRENVILLE, SC (WRDW/WAGT) -- A search is on hold in Warrenville after investigators were sent out to Cato Road Thursday night.

Aiken County deputies got tips about a body found near the Langley Cemetery, but so far they've found nothing.

Words are hard to come by for April Williams, who described her little brother, Devante, as a loving family man.

“He never went a day without calling,” Williams said. “If he wasn’t calling my mom, he was calling me or even my grandma. He was calling any one of us every day.”

The last time he called was 4 months ago. Police aren't sharing any information about the ongoing investigation into his disappearance at this time.

"He had a good heart, and his family still loves him. And cares about him,” Williams said. “We just want him home."

While Aiken County was seeking a body at the cemetery, those who visited the area Friday can't know for sure it's Devante they're searching for.

But members of Project Drew and other well-wishers joined the family to stand in solidarity today anyway.

"We appreciate every share, everything. Every donation, everything,” Williams said. “We appreciate everything."

Williams says at this point they need to rest, but they just really want answers.

Deputies are not saying who they’re seeking or who they think might be at the cemetery.

Originally, the sheriff’s office said there would be cadaver dogs in the woods on Friday, but now they say they won’t be able to get a team out until Tuesday.
