UPDATE: Water back on at Augusta Regional Airport

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Augusta Regional officials tell us ‪the water is back on at the airport.

Augusta Regional is under a 24 hour boil water advisory per protocol.

4:41 p.m.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Officials continue to work a water main break at Doug Barnard Parkway by the Augusta Regional Airport.

Officials with Augusta Regional Airport say there has been no running water in restrooms, water fountains, and the restaurant has been temporarily closed since 6:45 a.m. Monday.

Utility crews are at the airport working to repair the problem, but flights are all on schedule.

News 12 is told the break is on the 1500 block of Doug Barnard Parkway, and its a 24" main.

All water is off from Lumpkin Road to Bennick Mill Road.

It's unclear when everything will be back to normal.
