BEECH ISLAND, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT)-- Deputies arrested two people this weekend for attempted murder after they allegedly shot into a home back on May 26th.

Damien Glover Jr., 19, was arrested on Saturday, and Caroline Gregory, 17, was arrested on Friday. The suspects are each charged with 4 counts of assault/attempted murder and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime, for the May 26th shooting on Blackstone Camp Road.

According to an incident report from the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, the suspects allegedly shot into the home where four people were inside. The victims inside told police they did not immediately call 911 because there was shaken up.

The report says in response, one of the victims grabbed a shot gun and fired back at the suspects through one of the bedroom windows.

No one was injured during the shooting.

When officers arrived at the home, none of the victims were able to positively identify any of the shooters, according to report.

The responding officer found a bullet hole at the bottom of the door, two more above it, and one above the front window.

The report says one of the victims did tell police, he had an ongoing issue with people he suspected were the shooters. The victim reported one of the suspects, Glover Jr., had previously threatened him with a handgun.

The sheriff's office says police tried to find Glover Jr. that day but when they got to his home, his father said the 19-year-old no longer lived there.
