SALUDA COUNTY, S.C.(WRDW/WAGT) -- Two sex offenders were sentenced to prison time in Saluda County after pleading guilty to separate crimes.

Charles Gable Isdell, II, age 38, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars. He had been under investigation since 2017 when two 14-year-old victims reported he had sexually assaulted them.

The victims say they are still afraid of Isdell.

Gustavo Rodriguez Diaz, age 40, was sentenced to 15 years behind bars after the sexual assault of a 9-year-old in November 2016. The victim says Diaz assaulted her more than once.

"Our work to protect children in our community remains a primary focus. Our office will continue to hold child abusers responsible for their actions. The victims of these two offenders can continue healing knowing that their abusers are in prison,” said Eleventh Circuit Solicitor Rick Hubbard.
