(WRDW/WAGT) -- A group of nursing homes at the center of a News 12 I-Team investigation is making news in other parts of the country.

Weeks ago, we told you about PruittHealth facilities in our area where dozens of families claimed their loved ones died in their care.

Pennsylvania senators Pat Toomey and Bob Casey released a list of nursing homes across the country who need work.

Two PruittHealth locations from Georgia and South Carolina -- PruittHealth Blue Ridge and PruittHealth Blythewood -- made the list.

Those two homes, according to PennLive.com, are candidates for "a little-known program designed to improve the nation’s most troubled nursing homes."
