GROVETOWN, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- A third man has been arrested and charged in connection with a Grovetown home invasion, according to the Department of Public Safety.

DPS officials say 17-year-old Joseph M. Vaughner has been charged with aggravated assault, first degree home invasion, and armed robbery.

Vaughner, along with Tavarsea Steed and a 15-year-old boy, all stand charged in connection with the Parkridge Drive incident on Saturday that turned into a shooting.

Grovetown DPS reviewed home security footage that showed three black males, approximately 15-19 years of age, entering the home through a rear door visibly armed with handguns.

There was a dispute then the suspects robbed the 19-year-old and shot him, according to officers.

Two suspects fled from the front of the home and one suspect left through the back. All three then got into a dark blue in color 4 door sedan and fled the scene at a high rate of speed.

The incident remains under investigation.
