Swainsboro good fit for large manufacturing company, creating hundreds of jobs

EMANUEL COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- A manufacturing facility in Swainsboro is where Wincore Window Company plans to open their next business.

Wincore will move into an existing 75,000 square-foot facility. They also plan to invest $6.5 million dollars into it.

Wincore Window Company makes vinyl windows and patio doors for remodeling and new construction applications as well as fiberglass entry systems.

The company's expansion to Georgia is slated to create at least 150 jobs in Emanuel County. Wincore already employs more than 300 people nationwide.

Operations are set to begin in April of 2019.
