AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- The search continues, almost a year later, for a woman who has been indicted on charges of concealing a death after a woman was found dead in an Augusta parking lot.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says Angela Barnes remains sought in connection with the death of Ashley Buchanon.

According to investigators, Barnes found Buchanon unresponsive in her home on the 2400 block of Lisbon Street back on July 10, 2018.

Barnes, investigators said, contacted three others who noticed Buchanon was not breathing.

The four then allegedly put Buchanon's body in a car, drove it to an IGA parking lot, then called the sheriff's office.

Almost a year later, deputies continue to search for Barnes.

If you know where Barnes is located, please contact Investigator Shane Prince at (706) 821-1138 or any on-duty investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 821-1080.
