AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- According to the USDA’s website, some of their services will not be affected by the partial government shutdown.

The website states that eligible households would still receive SNAP benefits for the month of January.

It also stated that if you receive WIC and other nutrition assistance programs, that they will continue to operate at the state and local level but additional federal funding will not be provided during the lapse period.

Child Nutrition Programs such as School Lunch and Adult Care Feeding will continue operations until February.

The website does not state what will happen after January or February if the partial shutdown does not end.
