Rabies case confirmed in Columbia County

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Columbia County Health Department has confirmed a case of rabies in the county.

A raccoon tested positive for rabies in the Harlem area. That raccoon had come into contact with someone's pet dog, but the dog is current on vaccinations and is expected to be okay.
