Wendi Davis has been charged with five counts of unlawful conduct toward a child.

NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WRDW/WAGT) -- A daycare worker has been arrested after managers showed police footage of her work.

Wendi Nelson was arrested Thursday for five felonies of unlawful conduct toward a child.

The incidents happened at True Foundations Learning Center on Martintown Road.

We don't have any of the videos to show you, but they go back two weeks and involve at least five kids aged between 3 and 4 years old.

An incident report from the North Augusta Department of Public Safety details one of the incidents.

The report says an officer reviewed footage of one of the incidents in question and saw Nelson grab one of the juvenile victims out of her seat, carried her to another table, and threw her into a seat while yelling in her face.

Police say she was rough enough with the kids that it prompted charges.

A letter was sent by daycare staff Friday to parents whose children attend the center.

Management said someone alerted to the incidents, which prompted them to look at past footage.

Nelson has been fired and was immediately arrested. The daycare's manager said she also reported Nelson to DSS and the police for different incidents she saw in the footage.

Nelson was working at Family Affair, another daycare in North Augusta, when she was arrested.

According to the incident report, Nelson told deputies that she "did not remember any of the incidents" officers were referring to during her arrest.
