AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Aiken County deputies have evidence to believe a man who has been missing since May 1 is dead.

According to a press release, investigators searched two homes around 5:00 a.m. Monday in New Ellenton. That's where deputies believe Derrick Jai Curry, 20, was shot and killed. They have not yet found a body.

Evidence at the first homes led investigators to one home on Green Street and another on Keen Avenue. They arrested Denzell Deshawn Jackson, 18, and Shakel Rakeem Dixon, 20.

Dixon was initially sought, but later turned himself in Monday.
