Masters 2019: Public gates back open as weather threat ends

AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- After suspending practice due to the threat of lightning in the area, Augusta National Golf Club is re-opening the public gates.

The Public gates are expected to re-open around 12:45 p.m.

Masters patrons didn't get much golf in Tuesday morning on account of the weather.

The Augusta National Golf Club moved to suspend practice play around 10 a.m.

Tuesday marks the second day in a row that play was suspended due to weather.
