COLUMBIA COUNTY, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- It's every 10-year-old's dream.
"It's a giant bounce house!" Michael Artis said.
It's a bounce house so big it fills up half a park.
"It's super cool because a lot of kids don't get to do this a lot and I'm just really lucky," Michael said.
It's the largest world-record holding bounce house in the world and the first time Columbia County has ever done something as big as this.
Bounce for America travels around the world and can fit up to 180 people. It comes with obstacle courses, a DJ and games.
"All week long for the Masters there's stuff for parents to get sitters, adults to go out," Rachel Enfinger, the events manager for Columbia County said. "But there was nothing really for families."
It's not the only big event coming to the park. The Zac Brown Band and Midland are coming to Evans Towne Center Park in a week.
"Right after we load the big bounce out, first thing Monday morning, they're going to start loading steel to build out the structures they need to put on this concert," Enfinger said.
They're expecting 10,000 people to fill up the park and shut down Evans Towne Center Boulevard.
"The whole spirit of the plaza is to make it a more walk-able and pedestrian friendly," Steve Cassell, the Traffic Engineering Director for Columbia County said. "This will be part of the overall master plan is the concert venue."
Even the Lady-A stage will be transformed with wings added to both sides.
"They've got a super V-I-P area that'll be elevated," Enfinger said. "They've got cabanas. It's a big production."
And all part of Masters week in Augusta.
