FORT GORDON, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- It appears Fort Gordon will continue to receive an estimated $99 million for a planned Cyber Instructional Facility and Network Center.

That funding was part of money targeted toward potentially helping President Donald J. Trump fund the border wall with Mexico.

Congressman Rick Allen's office says he's visited Fort Gordon recently to take a look at construction on the center.

Allen's office says the award date for the project has been pushed back to the beginning of August. However, Allen's office also said that the money will be award before the end of of the fiscal year.
