Man killed in Warren County fire Tuesday morning identified

A man is dead after a fire in Warrenton Tuesday.

WARREN COUNTY, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- The man who was killed in a Warren County house fire has been identified.

The GBI and the Georgia Fire Marshal's Office have been asked to help investigate the fire that happened on Ansley Road. Charles Adkins, 65, of Warrenton, was killed in that fire, according to the Office of the Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner.

According to the Warren County Coroner's Office, flames broke out at the home around 6:00 a.m. Tuesday.

When officials arrived, they found a man dead inside the home.
