BURKE COUNTY, Ga (WRDW/WAGT) -- A traffic stop led Burke County Sheriff's Office deputies to discover drugs, guns, and three children inside a car on Highway 25 North.

According to the Burke County Sheriff's Office, the car was pulled over after it was clocked going 85MPH in a 65MPH zone.

Inside the car were two adults, later identified as convicted felon Hector Raul Sepulveda-Ruiz, 25, and Sarahi Correa, 24.

Sepulveda-Ruiz, when quizzed by the deputy, initially provided a fake identity until a mobile fingerprint scanner revealed otherwise.

Deputies began to search the car and quickly spotted three children: a 6-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 2-year-old. Two of the children were not wearing seat belts.

Investigators also found four bags of marijuana totaling 15.5 grams, pills, two loaded Glock handguns, and a digital scale inside a backpack belonging to one of the children.

Deputies booked both Sepulveda-Ruiz and Correa. Sepulveda-Ruiz was slammed with various charges, including possession, theft, giving false information, and driving with a suspended license. Correa, meanwhile, was charged with possession and theft.

Both remain at the Burke County Detention Center.
