EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Ten days after reporting that she was missing, Columbia County authorities say a missing teenager has been found safe.

Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputies announced May 15 they were looking for the 15-year-old they believe ran away from home.

Kamryn Marie Sherill left her residence in Evans on the afternoon of May 8, deputies said. She was believed to be in the Evans area staying with friends.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said Monday she had been found "safe and sound" in the area.
