Jon Christopher Hyatt was arrested April 10th.
AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) -- Aiken County deputies have arrested a man who they say committed sex-related crimes against a child.
Jon Christopher Hyatt, 32, was arrested on April 10th around 10:47 p.m. after deputies were called out to an Aiken County home for a sexual assault.
On the scene, deputies say the 6-year-old victim began "making gestures and saying inappropriate comments" indicating they were sexually assaulted by Hyatt earlier in the day and prior.
An arrest warrant claims Hyatt made the child watch obscene adult videos, as well as committed multiple sexual acts between October 2018 and April 2019.
Hyatt is facing charges of Obscene / Disseminating Obscene Material to a minor under age 12, and multiple counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a minor in the third degree.
Hyatt has been denied bond.
Any relationship between the victim and the suspect has not been released, most likely to protect the victim's privacy.
