AUGUSTA, GA (WRDW/WAGT) -- A 2-month-old "suspicious" death investigation has just turned into a homicide investigation.

According to the Richmond County Coroner's Office, Tiffany D'Antignac was found dead in a residence on Conklin Lane around 7:30 a.m. back on April 25.

Investigators had ruled her death to be suspicious, but now say specifically that she died of "ligature strangulation."
