AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- An Augusta woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend and kicking an officer after a dispute over drugs.
According to the incident report, Amekia Wooden was arrested around 3 a.m. March 1 after her boyfriend told deputies she stabbed him. Wooden told deputies she and her boyfriend got into an argument after he would not share his crack cocaine. However, Wooden says she did not stab him.
Deputies say the victim did have cuts on his right forearm, but he refused medical treatment. According to the report, both the victim and suspect were highly intoxicated. Wooden was arrested on battery charges.
The report says while under arrest in the patrol car, Wooden began kicking and head butting the divider. The deputy says when he opened the rear door of the patrol car to retrain her, Wooden kicked him several times in the forearm, abdomen, leg and groin area. Wooden is also facing battery against an officer.
