NORTH AUGUSTA, Sc. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The North Augusta City Administrator could finally sign off on an agreement for the company expected to build the Greenjackets new stadium.

The vote by the city council has been put off multiple times over the last few weeks.

Last week, the city did finalize the purchase of land for the stadium, but they'll need to approve the company before anything can begin.

Officials had hoped to have the stadium ready for next year's season.

News 12 NBC 26 will let you know if they make any progress today at their 7 p.m. meeting.
