RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man claims he did not attack his wife and kill another man earlier this year.
This morning, Richard Ouzts entered a not guilty plea in an Augusta courtroom.
Last month, a grand jury indicted him for the murder of Bobby Shue and the attempted murder of Deborah Ouzts on Rheney Road in Hephzibah.
Investigators say Ouzts shot his wife and slit her throat. She survived by pretending to play dead and crawling to a neighbor's home.
