AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two women say the father one of their children hit them both after a baby shower July 18, at the Forest Brook Apartments.

A Richmond County Deputy responded to the call on Silver Birch Place around 9:30. The deputy spoke with both victims who say Brandon Laricky Guidry, 24, arrived at the apartments after talking to victim 1 on the phone about when she would be done with the baby shower for victim 2. Victim 1 was out side with victim 2 and a witness when Guidry got to the scene at the end of the call.

According to the incident report, victim 1 told deputies Guidry dropped of their one-year-old child at the entrance close to a stop sign. She says she rushed over to get the child and was upset with Guidry for leaving their child in danger. Victim 1 says that is when the suspect started hitting her face with a closed fist. She says he also choked her.

Victim 1 says victim 2 rushed over to separate the two leaving her 3-year-old daughter with the witness. Victim 2 says Guidry then hit her in the right eye with a closed fist. Victim 2 told deputies she is 8 months pregnant.

Victim 1 says she then jumped in to separate Guidry and victim 2. She says he got into his car and drove away.

The responding deputy says victim 1 had blood coming from her nose and her left brow and eye lid were swollen. He says victim 2's right eye was severely swollen. The medial staff at GRU says victim 2's unborn child seemed fine from the assault but could not be 100% sure.

Guidry is facing several charges including two counts of battery, two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree, and a state court bench warrant.
