AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man accused of battery and assault is in custody, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.
Kadarius Bailey is arrested and charged with simple battery and simple assault, false imprisonment and first degree burglary, according to Richmond County Sheriff Deputies.
According to the incident report, the victim told responding deputies Bailey entered into her apartment uninvited at around 9:05 p.m. on April 24, 2015. The victim says Bailey then threw her onto the couch and held her down, according to the report.
The report states throughout the night, Bailey allegedly stayed the entire night, and kept turning the music on and off so no one could hear her screaming. The incident report also states Bailey allegedly hit the victim, grabbed the victim's neck, pulled her hair and refused to let her out of his sight.
The victim told deputies Bailey had a gun and threatened to kill her and himself "if he could not have her", according to the incident report. According to the report, the victim said Bailey pulled her up the stairs because he was scared of someone hearing them.
Around 2:00 a.m., the victim was able to text her neighbor to call the police, according to the report. The report states Bailey allegedly ran out of the apartment just before deputies arrived on scene after he realized the victim contacted her neighbor.
Once the deputies arrived, according to the incident report, they noticed scratches and bruises on the victim's body.
