Harlem High School Athletic Director charged with burglary

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Harlem High School Athletic Director is being charged with burglary. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office said he broke into his ex-wife's house and reportedly stole hydrocodone pills.

Adam Hampton Fulford resigned from his position at Harlem High School, according to Columbia County Superintendent Sandra Carraway. Fulford with Harlem High School for 12 years.

The Sheriff's Office says the incident happened on Feb. 6 at the ex-wife's house in Appling, Ga. Fulford lives in Grovetown.
