UPDATE | Three dogs rescued from shed fire on Mill Street

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Crews are working a vehicle fire that caused a shed to catch fire on Mill Street at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, dispatch said.

According to dispatch, the call came in at 3:42 p.m. There is a lot of smoke visible in the area.

A shed containing four vehicles behind a home caught fire and lit the shed on fire, according to the Augusta Fire Department.

Firefighters rescued three dogs from the blaze. At least one of the dogs was tied up near the shed and another dog was hovering to protect it, according to the Augusta Fire Department.

Flames destroyed the shed. No one was hurt in the fire, the fire department said.
