WRDW/WAGT, the CBS, NBC, MyNetworkTV, and CW affiliate in Augusta, Georgia, has an immediate opening for a Creative Services Producer. Come be a part of a dynamic creative team in a growing area located on the banks of the Savannah River! This is the ideal position for a creative self-starter who is looking to contribute to a variety of creative and promotional projects across our four network affiliates, including promotion for our award-winning news department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Writing, producing, shooting, and editing daily topical and image promotion, event promotional spots, contest promotions, and creative interview segments.
Local tagging of promos for network and syndicated programming.
Assist with shooting promotional and sponsored segments on location in the field.
Writing and producing marketing content for digital and social media platforms.
Assisting in setup and staffing of promotional events in the community.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in video production.
Previous experience in television production preferred.
Strong creative writing skills and/or interest in creative writing.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including non-linear editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Motion graphics skills in After Effects a plus.
Experience with card-based video recording equipment, sound, and lighting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills.
