North Augusta, SC--At SRP Park, it was the Will Muschamp show as he was on hand as the spurs up tour kicked off tonight before the South Carolina baseball game.
It will be an interesting year for the garnet and black, who on paper, have one of the toughest schedules in the nation. Muschamp knows that's the case about every year.
He is happy with spring ball and took a lot of positives out of it.
"What I'll say is at this time, there's some things to be excited about. The competive depth we have on our team, we have a deeper roster then we've had before, especially on both lines of scrimmage which excites ya because I know you have to be strong there. And I think we have good leadership" said Will Muschamp
That leadership comes in the former of Jake Bentley, Dennis Wonnum and TJ Brunson. Gamecocks need to get off to a quick start, especially with 'Bama on that early part of the schedule as the Tide rolls into Columbia.
