Augusta, Ga--When you look at the history of boys soccer at Westminster, it's pretty darn impressive. Since 2000 the program has won 10 GISA state crowns and that includes four in a row. One constant with most of those titles, coach Mike Freace. During the summer though, Freace announced he was leaving the school.

While there's still a few weeks to go in the season, Freace will be headed to Charlotte next year to be part of the Charlotte Eagles soccer ministry. His impact at Westminster is immeasurable though and loves working to make the kids better, on and off the field.

He knows the end is near in Augusta, but trying not to think about it.

"I'm trying to avoid it I think a little bit. I am trying to enjoy every moment, knowing it's my last year. You know it's a special group of guys but they've all been special but at the same time, we've always approached things one step at at time and the details matter, and all those things so it's no difference in that sense" said Mike Freace

While he has those bunch of titles with the boys, we forget, he use to coach both teams and actually has a pair of state crowns with the ladies as well.
