Westminster boys soccer advance to the GISA semifinals

Augusta, Ga--The Westminster boys soccer team scored three goals in the second half and beat Trinity Sharpsburg 4-0 Thursday night. The Wildcats will now play next Friday in the GISA semifinals against Mount de Sales in Macon, at Mercer University.
Meanwhile, the Lady Wildcats fall 3-2, also to Sharpsburg on Thursday.
On the softball front, North Augusta had their season end with a 3-0 loss to Union County. It's the second loss this week the Jackets have suffered to Union County, who will now play for the state title.
