Aiken, SC--99.9% of the time we talk about a team's accomplishment's on the basketball court or playing field. What we don['t talk a lot about is their work outside their sport of choice. For the USC Aiken softball team, they've gone above and beyond helping others in the community, especially this time of year.

It's become an annual tradition of the team, with the help of the salvation army, adopt a family and help them out for the holidays. They hold fundraisers during the year and then have the fun of wrapping the presents that'll go to the family, who they don't know. It's all about gratitude and these young ladies understand it.

"I love giving back to the community, it's very inspiring to see really help people out. It's just a great thing to do.." said Leah Boghosian

"Just giving them a Christmas they wouldn't have because of unfortunate events, it's just very rewarding" said Maci Hutto

This is the sixth year the Pacers have taken on this project and it's doubtful it'll stop anytime soon.
