Petticoat Junction, SC--The Silver Bluff boys beat Southside Christian 56-41 Tuesday night to advance to the state semifinals on Friday in Greenville.

The Bulldogs pretty much led all the way but used as strong third quarter to pull away from the Sabres for the win. The Bluff led 25-22 at the half, but then turned things up on both ends of the court, outscoring Southside Christian 13 to 3 to take a double digit lead.

They would then cruise in the 4th for the 15 point victory and advance to the state semifinals.

"That was one of main keys tongiht. We knew they were bigger then us, we knew they had more size underneath and we just said we want to play more physical, we want to take it right at them and that's what we looked to do" said Robbie McKenzie

"Just run down the floor. Coach said we had to go 94 feet, run, run and we got to rebound basically. This is my first time, I lost my sophomore year and junior year in the second round. This is great, the first time" said JadaKiss Wright

They will now take on Andrew Jackson in the semifinals on Friday in Greenville

In Class 4A, North Augusta falls to Darlington 83-68 as their season comes to an end.

In 3A, it was Manning beating Strom Thurmond 55-50 to end the Rebels season.
