Augusta, Ga--For the second time in the short off season, we have a high school football change, this time at Westside. After five years at the helm, Scott Tate has decided to step down as head coach.

Tate's best year was his first at Westside when the patriots won four games, but after that, just five total wins in the last four years.

They've been fighting the numbers game as far as kids on the team, but at times this year, did show some flashes of being competitive.

Tate was at Cross Creek, and after a five year hiatus, took over the Westside program in 2014
