Augusta, Ga--It was a banner year on the baseball diamond and tonight, Complete game and Platinum Sports celebrated their dozen kids that have inked to play college ball.

From Division One programs to smaller ones, the performance academy's goal is to make kids better at baseball. They don't undermine the high school ranks but supplement what they learn during their high school days.

"A lot of these guys have great high school coaches and we supplement that during the summer and give them the maximum exposure they can have to get to the next level. Some people use to think it was one or the other, but we realize, if you do it the right way, it's a combination of both." said Matt Childers

Childers himself is a former big leaguer so he does know a thing or two about baseball and has qualified coaches to help him out.
